How to Create an eBook with VibeBooky (Complete Walkthrough)

This is the full VibeBooky loop — the same one used to produce a finished, formatted eBook in an afternoon. Every step maps to a screen in the app.

Step 1 — Write the brief (2 minutes)

Open New book and describe the book: topic, audience, tone, length, language and whether it's fiction. Be specific. "A 90-page beginner guide to sourdough without a starter, warm and reassuring, for busy first-timers" produces a far better result than "a bread book".

Step 2 — Generate and edit the outline

VibeBooky's writing engine proposes a chapter structure with a promise per chapter. Reorder, rename, delete filler, and add the chapter only you could write. The outline is the single biggest lever on quality — spend your time here.

Step 3 — Generate chapters

Chapters are drafted in the format your genre needs: cookbook layouts get ingredient and method blocks, workbooks get exercises, non-fiction gets key takeaways, fiction gets scene-led prose. Generate, then read critically.

Step 4 — Refine in Author Studio

Author Studio is a chat + live preview workspace. Ask for what you want in plain language:

• "Rewrite chapter 3 opening in a more personal voice."
• "Add a 7-day plan at the end of chapter 5."
• "Tighten the whole book — cut repetition, keep the examples."

You can also switch to Edit and type directly, and the preview updates as you go.

Step 5 — Pick a book design

The Design tab holds 30+ layout presets, dozens of fonts, text size and custom accent/ink/paper colours. What you see in the preview is exactly what the export renders — fonts are embedded in the real file.

Step 6 — Generate a cover that works at thumbnail size

Describe the mood, or let VibeBooky derive it from the book. Covers export as full-bleed JPG at KDP dimensions. Test it small: if the title isn't readable at 100px wide, iterate.

Step 7 — Export Kindle-ready files

Export gives you EPUB (Kindle upload), PDF (print interior and proofing) and DOCX (backup and manual edits), each with a linked table of contents and proper chapter breaks. The Preview vs Download view lets you check every page before you commit.

Step 8 — Publish with the KDP workspace

How long the whole thing takes

Realistically: 15 minutes for brief and outline, an hour or two of generation and reading, an hour of editing and design, 15 minutes for cover and export. One focused afternoon for a book you actually stand behind.
